Max officially graduated 1st grade...we couldn't be more proud of our first born. He is about two grade levels ahead in reading and math, but more importantly, he earned superior marks in all of the non-academic areas, including behavior and being a good citizen. Mommy may or may not be the most proud of his excellent grade for keeping a neat desk...his only area of improvement at the beginning of the year. I have already started brainstorming organizational techniques for his desk next year...but I digress. Here is our soon-to-be second grader....feels like just yesterday Chris and I were walking him to the bus stop for the first time.
Max attended a Phillies baseball camp in Reading for a few days...and loved every second. Of course, spending the week at Gram and PopPop's while he was at camp didn't hurt either...he came home very spoiled, very well-loved and very knowledgeable about several pitching techniques.
Lucy turned 4 and celebrated with 20 of her closest friends...at the happiest place on earth...an ice cream parlor.
Lucy can now serenade us with both her beautiful voice...and unique guitar skills...one of her birthday presents that Charlie finds absolutely hilarious.
Lucy and Mommy also enjoyed our first mother-daughter pedicure on her birthday...a true treat...one-on-one time with my little sweetheart and a pampering for our toes. Lucy didn't stop smililng the entire time.
Charlie kept us on our toes in June...by crawling everywhere.
Our summer outings are so much more fun and joy-filled with this little lovebug along for the ride.
