Wii wish you a Merry Christmas!

I could write a sentimental post about the holidays or blog about many things I am grateful for this Christmas. But, I won't. Simply because nothing could top the pure innocent excitement on my sweet boy's face when he saw the prized Christmas present of all time...a Wii.

Yes, Santa was very good to Max this year and brought him the one gift that he requested...repeatedly. After warming up a few rounds by himself, Max did let the rest of us join in the Wii fun...PopPop took a few turns at bowling and tennis. Gram is completely addicted to bowling...I suspect the next time she babysits, Lucy will be tucked in extra early so Gram and Max can have a bowling competition. Even Daddy got in on the action...albeit reluctantly.

Santa did deliver a few other presents as well...including a playhouse for Lucy. He only had time to put one side of the playhouse together, though, so Daddy had to finish what Santa's elves left.

Lucy also received several pretty princess outfits...which she thought best to wear all at once.

As Santa's note to Lucy and Max Joseph read(he has taken to calling himself by his full name these days), they have been very good all year...

It was a magical day in so many ways...Max truly believing in Santa and getting into the holiday spirit, three generations gathered around a game laughing hysterically and a pretty princess singing and dancing for joy throughout the day.
