Half a year. Where has the time gone?!? It is hard to believe that six months from now we will be celebrating your first birthday. I wish there was a pause button on life these days…you are growing up way too fast.
This has been a fairly quiet month for you, Charlie. You continue to gobble up everything in sight, including tasting your first cracker. You seem to really like to feed yourself so we are going to encourage your independent feeding side the next few months. Table food may become a little easier as your first tooth seems like it is going to show itself in the very near future. Your waistline is growing as rapidly as your palate…24 pounds of 100% loveable baby. Your sweet self is outfitted in 18 month clothing most days with a size 3 diaper on your cute little bottom. You continue to make friends at school…especially the little ladies who crawl over to your bouncy seat to spark up conversations with you. We understand that you like to chat it up at school.
When we venture out, people commonly comment on your sweet smile and happy personality. We give thanks every night for the good-natured, peaceful personality you have been blessed with…our hope is that you will always have a smile on your face and laughter in your heart.
On a beautiful, sunny Thursday morning six months ago, our lives were changed forever. You are a priceless gift that we have been given and we are soaking in every second we spend with you.

Happy 6 months to Charlie! I love those cheeks. He does look so happy and fun. Enjoy each moment. You know. They pass too quickly.
