Baby Steps

As if Max's announcement of the arrival (sort of) of Rex and Sonny was not exciting enough, Lucy took her first unassisted step this evening. Lulu has been working hard on balancing herself while standing up. Tonight she really wanted to get to Chris and she just wobbled into his arms. After this exciting moment, we spent the rest of the evening trying to get Lulu to recreate this monumental event. She was having no parts of it. We even tried holding food out in front of her and encouraging her to walk to the food...even food was not enough to break her...she would just fall to the floor and crawl over to the food. Hopefully, in the next few days, Lucy will be brave enough to recreate the moment when Mommy has her camera handy!
