We haven't heard Max mention his "babies" Rex and Sonny in quite some time, so Chris raised the issue at dinner tonight. When he asked Max what ever happened to Rex and Sonny, Max informed us they were born but haven't hatched yet. Huh? Well, this just led to Chris and I asking dozens of questions. We probably should have left well enough alone but it was just too tempting not to pursue this line of thinking on Max's part. So, here is the latest on the twins.
Rex and Sonny were born on July firth. That would be July 1st to the rest of us. Max is still sometimes confused between the -st, -th, and -nd suffixes on numbers. Max put them in a bed to hatch. Location of said bed is still unknown. He was vague on this detail of the update. Rex and Sonny will hatch on March 19, according to Max. Chris figured out that the twins have a nine month gestational period until they hatch.
Stay tuned...unfortunately, I have a feeling this saga is far from over.
