Last year, Max's class had pet bunny named Bubbles. This year's class pet is significantly less high-maintenance...a stuffed lobster named Larry. Each Friday, a child is selected to take Larry home based on what the student has planned for the wekeend. Larry also comes with a journal to document through pictures and a story his adventures with his host family. This past weekend Max was chosen to bring Larry home and join us on our fall activities and sleepover with G. This is what Max wrote about Larry:
Larry had a great weekend. Larry went to my soccer game and cheered.
I took him on a spooky hayride.
My best friend had a sleepover. We watched a movie.
I was very proud of Max's journal entry. He put a decent amount of effort into coming up with each sentence and for the most part, everything was spelled correctly.
