Moonbounces and ice cream...does it get any better? Our third day of staycation was a combination of a few smaller activities. The morning started with Max and I heading out to the movies with friends then lunch at a local park...Lucy and Daddy hit the playground and a magic show at the library. We met back up in the afternoon and headed over to a local moonbounce place. We literally had the entire place to ourselves most of the time...we arrived at the same time most people were heading home to eat dinner. The kids bounced for about two hours...all the while laughing and chasing each other. Lucy mastered climbing the steps up to the slide by herself which meant Chris and I could just sit and chat while the kids played...very enjoyable for all parties!
In the evening we took a ride to get ice cream (sorbet for Max) at a farm. After gobbling up our dessert we strolled around the farm grounds to see the animals. At several points in our walk, Lucy thought it would be a good idea to climb through the fence to get a closer look at the animals. You will also see Lucy on the shoulders of Chris in some pictures...she has really taken to method of transport...she enjoys playing the bongo drums on his head and dancing while he walks her around.
I think Maggie has also enjoyed having us all home this week. She has taken to snuggling with Max on the couch each morning before the rest of us get up for the day...since we (Lucy, Mommy and Daddy) have been sleeping in this week, she has gotten extra snuggle time with Beefy.

What a fun time! How neat to tour a farm like that. You all have some of the coolest things around you. Hope it was a great staycation week!
