Here are a few pictures from our weekend in Norfolk. All in all, it was a great weekend. It was nice to spend some time with Max. We tried to take in as much as possible in the short time we were there. Max and Daddy got some good swimming time in, we visited the waterfront and, of course, had a fabulous time playing with Rudy.
We had adjoining rooms to Rudy, so the boys had a blast running back and forth.
We have this same picture of Chris holding the boys in Guatemala. I will need to dig it out to see how much they both have grown.
Max couldn't eat the wedding cake, but as you can see from his teeth, he helped himself to plenty of Oreos! You can also see that the tie and nice pants only lasted so long. Max decided that his Phillies shirt and sneakers would be nice wedding attire half way through. Given that it prevented a complete meltdown at 9 at night, we obliged.
When we picked Lulu up at my parents, she was sitting happily in her highchair eating dinner. She looked as if she didn't want to come home. I doubt she heard the word "no" much this weekend and she definitely looked well-fed - so I think she would have been willing to stay much longer. Of course, as soon as we got home, she started chasing Maggie around. I hope Maggie enjoyed her vacation from Lucy this weekend.
