After being cooped up in the house with three out of four of us not feeling well, the warm weather was much appreciated today. We have had fun the past two days visiting with our friends and cousin Rudy at indoor playlands, but nothing beats a good ol' day at the playground. We finally got to the playground this afternoon for the first time this season. I always love taking Max to the playground each Spring to see how much more he is able to do himself. I remember the first year all he could do was swing in the baby swing, the next year he would climb the stairs to the slide followed by being helped up the rock wall. This year, he was able to do the rock wall with no hesitation.
Lucy started on down the path to being more grown up today - she went for her first swing ride. She absolutely loved it and squealed the entire time.
Max enjoyed sharing the playground with his little sister...he really liked taking her down the slide on his lap. We couldn't ask for a more caring, sweet big brother for Lucy.
Even though Lucy can't crawl yet (she barely even rolls over), she thought the rock wall would be no problem!
Before we left for the playground, we played with bubbles in the front yard. Lucy enjoyed being entertained by Max and Daddy.
