Hoppy Easter!

Hoppy Easter from our bunnies to yours! Max found these bunny ears at the store a few weeks ago and insisted on getting a pair for him and for Lucy.

We had a nice, low key Easter...the weather was mild so Max got to play outside for a little in the morning then we had dinner with Gram and PopPop.

Max tore into his Easter basket before the camera could even be found so there is no documentation that the Easter Bunny left anything for Max! Lucy seemed to really enjoy the idea of someone leaving food for her...she immediately found all of the food items in her basket and left the toys to collect dust! I forgot to buy her an Easter hat, but she seemed to make do just fine with the basket as a substitute!

On a separate note, Max hasn't been feeling well the past few days, so keep your fingers crossed that he bounces back quickly. We gave him peanut butter on Friday and he reacted pretty strongly by Friday night with stomach pain and he has his first cold since his surgery...his sinuses are really bothering him and he has a spotty low fever so we are hoping there is no blockage...which is apparently a possibility we found out last night after calling the ENT. Why is nothing easy with this kid :)
